As we get older, we notice something pretty big: we have to start doing things for ourselves, being independent, adulting. But, adulting is hard. So that's why we're here--to help you figure out that adulting life.

I created this website for my Girl Scout Gold Award Project. I wanted to create something that could help others going through the same thing I was--trying to grapple this big idea of independence.

There are lots of different ways to use this guide. You could read every word to try to learn everything you can, or navigate case by case using the section tabs at the top and jumping to the topics you need. It's all up to you!

Why use this?
It's true; there are hundreds of other resources on life skills you could use. However, this guide is specifically directed towards giving the basics of just about everything to young adults--think of it like a crash course in living.
